Chunchi Falls, is tucked inside the rocky cliff in the town of Chunchi (near Mekedatu, off Kanakapura). Though it’s not easily accessible, the setting screams of drop dead gorgeousness.
I was traveling alone and couldn’t get myself to walk off without getting closer and taking a dip. So I hired a local travel guide to help me trek to one of the spots under the falls for some private fun time. It took about 25 mins for me to reach the falls, it is tedious and I wouldn’t recommend venturing by yourself. There are some slippery rocks. However, as they say the destination always matters, and it was so true. The water falls was so cold and powerful. Every drop falling on me was liberating me from all things unnecessary in this world. I invite you to witness the beauty of this place via pictures.

I tried representing the water fall with my zentangle doodle.

(P.S. This is where I experienced the water falls 🥰)
