Ravello – Italy 2019

Ravello is one of the resort town set at 365 meters above the Tyrrhenian Sea by Italy’s Amalfi Coast, decorated by it’s iconic cliffside gardens. A list of things one can experience here:
Villa Rufolo – a beautiful house showcasing Ravello’s extensive repertoire of historical and architectonic showpieces. Do check out the Torre-Museo, the tower from where you can revel in the panorama of Ravello and the sea. Once you descend from the tower, gardens in full bloom greet you like a red carpet to the gallery view. The octave patterns and blooms of colors can entertain and calm your soul at that elevation. Entrance fee is 7€ for adult.

Seen below are ceramic tiles. You will be amazed to see each room having different ceramic tile patterns and colors
Villa Cimbrone – Legend has it that this place was bought by an educated English traveler, who came to Ravello on advice of friends to recover from a serious form of depression which affected him after the early death of his wife. The intense happiness which this magical place caused him lead him to buy the estate, and turn it into a work of art, “the finest place in the world”. And I couldn’t agree more, the picture below showcases the The terrace of infinity which was mind-blowing and splendid. You can also check out these other places in the Villa – The crypt, The avenue of intensity, Mercury’s seat, The temple of Bacchus, Eve’s Grotto. All will be mentioned in the small booklet handed over to you at the entrance. Entrance fee is 7€ for adult.

Fuel your heart’s infinity with the blue sky and sea!!!

One can shop for Ceramic kitchen ware and souvenirs, Cashmere and Linen clothing, Perfumes. Also you can check out some of the art galleries to witness and appreciate the local talent. Most curators entertain you with stories of the artist and their inspiration behind their masterpieces.
I was tired of all the walking and wanted to seat myself longer. So decided to have a full course meal and wandered into this quiet restaurant – Salvatore. The table I was seated in had a breathtaking view of the coast, one that Ravello prouds of. They served bread with a print of the view of Ravello from Villa Rufolo. Followed by pasta. And the king of dessert – Tiramisu. I felt satiated at the end with this meal and the view. One should definitely try this place or any other restaurant/cafe that offers a closed seating with the coast view.
